It all started in 1985 when Galen Haaven began grinding stumps as a side business out of Center City, Minnesota. What started as honest, hard work grew into something that would define his family for generations.
Galen's son Trevor started helping on jobs at just 13 years old. After graduating in 1994, he joined full-time — and the business grew alongside him. Tree removal was added, equipment expanded, and a reputation for reliability was built job by job, year by year.
Today, Haaven's Stump Removal spans multiple generations. Luke and Diesel have joined the family business, carrying forward the same values of integrity, craftsmanship, and hard work that Galen instilled from day one.
