About

Hand-picked gear, no marketing fluff.

OnlyCampers is an independent camper and RV gear site run by people who actually live in the gear they recommend.

Most RV gear sites are written by people who've never spent a rainy weekend in a 24-foot trailer. We have. That's the whole reason this site exists.

OnlyCampers is run by a small group of full-time and weekend RV owners who got tired of buying gear based on five-star reviews from people who used a product once. We test things across full seasons, in different rigs, on real campsites — and we only write about the gear that earns its keep.

Why we built this

If you've shopped for camper accessories online, you already know the problem. Search results are crowded with sites that recommend whatever pays the highest commission, posts written by people who've never opened the box, and "top 10" lists that haven't been updated since 2019.

We wanted somewhere to send our friends — a clean, honest, no-fluff list of the gear that actually works. So we built it.

How we pick products

Every product we feature has to clear three bars before it gets a spot:

  • At least one of us has used it for a full camping season.
  • It has to solve a real problem we'd run into without it.
  • It has to still be the best in its category — not just good enough.

If a product fails on any of those, it doesn't make the list. If something better comes along later, we update the list. That's it.

How we make money

We're an Amazon affiliate. When you click a "Check Price on Amazon" button and end up buying something, Amazon pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same either way.

We mention this up front because we think you should know. It also means we don't run paid placements, sponsored reviews, or "featured product" deals — those compromise the only thing this site is actually for, which is helping you spend your money on gear that won't disappoint you.

Who we're for

This site is for the RV owner who'd rather be outside than online. Whether you're picking up your first travel trailer, downsizing to a Class B, or living full-time in a fifth wheel, the gear we cover is built around making the lifestyle simpler — not adding more clutter.
